Born into a family of musicians, Didier began playing drums and bass drums in brass bands as a child.
The arrival of Roland Raelisson at the Saint Joseph MJC developed his talent for
drums and percussion. From then on, he accompanied artists on stage for local events and radio crochets.
In 1990, he took part in the creation of groups and the production of albums by “Bankoul”, “Compère Grat’fil”, “Racine Seggae” and “Zanzibar”.
In 1994, he attended a “être en scène” training course run by Dominique Bertram at the Studios des Variétés in Paris.
Since then, the list of artists and groups he has accompanied has grown to include :
Baster, Patrick Persée, Miguy Pétrel, Nicole Dambreville, Meddy Gerville, Racine Noir, Tiana, Maki Rasta, Fabrice Legros, Youss, Babtia, Kalouban’, Wopela, Mounawar and others.
He has toured extensively in Africa, the United States and Europe, and taken part in prestigious festivals.
